On the completion of 10 years of service delivery, Inspiration launched a new project in Dehra Dun. The Inaugural ceremony took place at Inderlok Hotel, on the 25th Sept' 05. Maj.Gen. Ranbir Bakhshi, Chairman Emeritus of Raphael Home, also a well known stalwart from the disability sector was the Chief Guest, while Mrs. Brar, Principal of Welham Girls' School, and Mr. C.P. Dang, Chairman of Doon Girls' School were the Guests of Honour.

The Group Home presently consists of 12 inmates and about 10 day scholars. It offers a variety of services with special emphasis on self-help skills and activities of daily living, besides games and therapies like, alternative therapies, behaviour therapy and recreational activities.

Along with services for special children, Inspiration has been working with children in regular schools with minor difficulties. Awareness programmes have always been the special thrust area, and one such programme was held on the 17th of March'06 at Welham Boys' School, Dalanwala. Another programme was held in May at Rotary Club, Dehra Dun. These have helped to increase the awareness about intellectual disabilities, especially autism, of which very little is known, at present.
